Zac Thomas. Brooklyn, NY (2010)

At long last, I’m happy to share a shoot I did with friend Zac Thomas in March. If you’re having deja-vu, you may recognize Zac as the guy on crutches a few posts ago. These images have been an itch in the back of my brain for a while now, it felt great to work through the take and finalize a few photos today. Though the images are straightforward I think their mood and construction is intriguing, hope you find them interesting as well.

To take us home, here’s an artist that was played for me this weekend by my friend Brice. Yasuko Agawa is an 80s funk and soul singer from Kamakura City, Japan.

  2. [...] There is something that is very comforting about Geordie Wood’s portraits of Zac Thomas. I think the warm grayish background so subtly complements Zac’s coloring and his bare upper body. See more from this post here. [...]

  3. wow-love these photos, and the music too! ! !
