Just after swimming three weeks ago, this photo was made on the shores of Lake Michigan in downtown Chicago. It was during my inaugural visit to Illinois and I must say it was a pleasure indeed. My friend Sergey and I flew west to visit Donna for some conversation, exploration and durak - I’m already looking forward to the next visit.

By next Monday, I will have spent three nights in four states over the past fourteen days. It’s been a whirlwind and there is more to come. So here’s a quick hello as I take a pit stop in NYC and a few snapshots from my cell phone along the way. I wish I picked up a real camera instead of my phone for a few of these - c’est la vie.
